Your Role

We’re looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to strengthen our team in Brussels. You’ll play a key role in attracting and hiring top IT talent, working closely with our business leaders to help grow our consultancy. If you’re passionate about recruitment, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make an impact in the IT sector, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the recruitment journey – from crafting job ads and sourcing candidates to managing interviews and guiding offers.

  • Source smartly – leverage LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and your own network to engage top talent.

  • Partner with hiring managers – understand their needs, provide insights, and design effective recruitment strategies.

  • Boost our employer brand – support initiatives that showcase Sword as an employer of choice in the IT market.

  • Keep data sharp – maintain our ATS and recruitment database to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Stay ahead of the curve – monitor trends in tech recruitment and share best practices with the team.

  • Report & improve – track key recruitment metrics and provide actionable updates to management.

What You Bring

  • Languages: Fluent English; Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.

  • Experience: 1–2 years in recruitment, ideally in IT or technology-focused roles.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Tech awareness: Familiarity with IT roles and concepts is a plus.

  • People skills: Strong communicator with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders alike.

  • Organizational skills: Able to manage multiple processes and priorities at once.

  • Digital know-how: Comfortable using recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, etc.).
