Job description

Sword is looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new enterprise architecture for one of our clients. You will oversee project governance, stakeholder coordination, UAT, data migration, and change management, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity to make an impact while representing Sword in a dynamic client-facing environment.

Your Responsibilities

Phase 1 – Preparation

  • Establish the overall governance structure for the project.

  • Define roles and responsibilities across stakeholders.

  • Create and validate the project workload plan.

  • Prepare and lead the project kick-off.

  • Plan Gaps/parametric analysis workshops.

Phase 2 – Implementation

  • Manage governance bodies, including COPRO and STEERCO meetings.

  • Conduct regular monitoring of planning, budget, scope, resource allocation, and deliverable quality.

  • Ensure documentation quality and completeness from the integrator.

Key activities during critical project phases include:

  1. User Acceptance Tests (UAT):

    • Develop UAT microplanning.

    • Ensure exhaustive test scenarios, including business variants.

    • Oversee test execution and ticket resolution using a dashboard tool.

    • Monitor non-regression testing.

  2. Data Migration & Failover Planning:

    • Define the migration strategy in collaboration with the integrator.

    • Coordinate data validation with the client’s business lines.

    • Track migration progress and oversee the transition plan.

  3. Hypercare Follow-Up:

    • Manage ticket resolution during the post-implementation support phase.

Change Management

  • Conduct stakeholder impact analysis, covering organizational, technological, and operational changes.

  • Develop and execute a tailored communication plan for each project phase.

  • Supervise and support trainers in delivering high-quality training sessions through a ‘train the trainer’ strategy.

  • Measure adoption rates and ensure successful change integration post-launch.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in UAT, data migration, and change management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables.

  • Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory), with knowledge of French and/or Dutch being a plus.
