Trainer

Context of the Project:

For ensuring a smooth transition to the new XPublisher platform on Fabasoft Cloud SaaS in EPRS, DG EPRS needs the support of external resources. The consultants will design and deliver comprehensive training and documentation (in editable formats) ensuring the users fully understand and can confidently use the XPublisher authoring and publishing tools. The training will cover the practical aspects of digital asset management, the XML-based authoring environment and basic system functionalities. Support to EP end users and administrators must also be provided during the initial usage of the tool.

Tasks:

• Group Training Sessions: Organize and conduct group-training sessions tailored to different user roles (authors, file managers, reviewers, validators).

• Ad-hoc 1-on-1 Coaching: Provide users coaching during the on-boarding phase to familiarize users with the new system.

• Train super-users: Provide specific training to super-users which will then provide training to newcomers.

• Development of Training Materials: Create clear manuals and video tutorials for both administrative and end-user functions.

• Q&A Support: Offer ongoing support through the dedicated communication channel to address user queries.

• Single Point of Contact: The trainer (profile 1) should act as the primary contact for user support and training-related queries.

Expertise Required:

• Excellent communication skills (English)

• Training/Coaching experience

• User support

• Basic knowledge of XML and online publications authoring environments

• Sound knowledge of publishing solutions

Professional Experience - Profile 1 (Trainer):

• Proven experience in user training and support, preferably within a public sector or similar environment.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with delivering both one-on-one and group training sessions.

• A good understanding of end-user software applications; no additional technical or development expertise is required.

• Understanding of HTML and, as a minimum, a basic understanding of how XML works.

• Knowledge of XPublisher or similar XML-based content editing tool is preferred.
