Information Architecture and Content Expert

TASKS/REQUIRED SERVICES

The successful candidate should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver high quality results. He/she will be required to liaise and report to the project manager - orally and in writing.

TASK 1: ANALYSIS AND SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

The service provider will be tasked to develop in collaboration with other members of the team the system architecture, and to conduct technical analysis for the IT systems, taking as input the current state of play of the systems, their relevant documentation and new, emerging, requirements.

TASK 2: SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

The service provider will also contribute substantially to the development and deployment of the solutions, namely using the European Corporate eUI platform for developing and/or re using of corporate software modules for the creation of the systems above.

SKILLS:

The position requires very strong technical skills: The service provider must possess excellent software architecture knowledge and skills and be able to work hands-on on building high quality software components and front-end architecture enabling easy to comprehend user journeys.

The successful candidate must also possess solid experience with complex web-based IT solutions built with Angular technology. He/she must demonstrate excellent knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RxJS, JS ES6, Node, NPM, Git and IntelliJ. The candidate must be familiar with these technologies in order to properly pick and choose the appropriate solutions for the design and building of the websites. The successful candidate must possess knowledge and experience in defining the architecture and structure of public websites.

He/she must demonstrate very good knowledge of iterative project management methodologies (Agile/SCRUM), requirements engineering and quality assurance processes and be proficient with JIRA. Knowledge of Commission web communication rules would be considered an advantage. The candidate must be fluent in English (reading/speaking/writing at least at level C1).
