Data Analyst (Business focused)

Overview:

We are seeking a business-focused Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and business growth. The ideal candidate will be skilled at working with existing data sources to design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards, while communicating insights effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with existing data sources to extract, clean, and transform data for reporting and analysis.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Tableau.

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights to support strategic and operational decisions.

• Collaborate with business teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting systems.

• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement through data interpretation and visualization.

• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in one or more BI tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).

• Solid understanding of data interpretation, visualization, and storytelling techniques.

• Experience working with structured data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, data warehouses).

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences.

• Attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Familiarity with data modeling and performance optimization for dashboards.

• Experience working in a business-driven environment where insights directly influence outcomes.
