Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Experts to support one of our key clients — a European Institution — in strengthening its cybersecurity posture and protecting critical information assets. The selected professionals will contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the institution’s security frameworks, ensuring compliance with European standards and policies.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international, and mission-driven environment, collaborating with experts to address complex cybersecurity challenges across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls, tools, and frameworks in line with institutional and EU standards.
Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational impact.
Conduct digital forensics and root cause analysis to support investigations and incident reporting.
Perform vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation efforts with relevant teams.
Gather and analyze cyber threat intelligence to identify emerging risks and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure adherence to information security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, EU Cybersecurity Act).
Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to embed security best practices across all activities.
Support security awareness and training initiatives for staff and stakeholders.
Produce reports and dashboards to communicate the security posture and key risk indicators to management.

Proven experience in one or more cybersecurity roles:
Cybersecurity Implementer / Engineer
Incident Responder
Threat Intelligence Specialist
Forensic Specialist
Information Security Officer
Vulnerability Management / Compliance Analyst
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, network monitoring, and vulnerability management solutions.
Familiarity with incident response procedures, forensic analysis tools, and threat intelligence platforms.
Knowledge of EU information security standards and data protection regulations.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent.
Experience supporting cybersecurity operations within public sector or European institutions.
Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid IT environments.
