Description:
We are looking for a motivated and communicative Analyst to support one of our clients, a European public institution, in its transition from Microsoft Word to Xpublisher as the primary XML editing tool. This is a temporary assignment starting in September 2025, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact digital transformation project within an international and multilingual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for end-users during the transition from MS Word to Xpublisher.
Deliver hands-on coaching, guidance, and practical support to users across departments.
Quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the Xpublisher tool and its features.
Provide clear and concise explanations on how to use Xpublisher effectively, including working with predefined XML templates.
Understand and translate end-user needs into practical use of the tool.
Gather user feedback and report issues or improvement suggestions to the project team.
Develop simple user guides, quick-reference materials, and FAQs to support learning.
Profile:
Proven experience in coaching, training, or supporting end-users in adopting new digital tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Fast learner with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with structured content and XML is a strong asset.
Previous experience with publishing or content management tools is a plus.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or other EU languages is an advantage.
Prior experience in EU Institutions or public sector environments is a plus.
