Job Description
As an Account Manager, you will represent Sword Technologies to clients in the Flemish market as well as within European institutions. You will be responsible for managing and expanding our portfolio of clients who rely on us to provide highly skilled IT consultants to strengthen their internal teams. Your role will combine building and nurturing long-term relationships with identifying new opportunities to grow our presence across these key markets.
Responsibilities
Carry out the client development strategy to expand our footprint in the Flemish market and EU institutions.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular contact, tailored advice, and professional support.
Identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients to increase demand for our IT consultants.
Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts in close collaboration with internal teams.
Work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to match the right IT professionals to client needs.
Monitor market trends and developments in IT consultancy to proactively identify opportunities.
Your Profile
At least 2 years of experience in a commercial or account management role, ideally within IT consultancy or professional services.
Experience working with the public sector and/or European institutions is a major asset.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong plus.
Strong commercial mindset with proven networking and negotiation skills.
Results-driven, with a focus on client satisfaction and long-term business growth.
Affinity with IT consultancy and good understanding of the IT market.
