Job description

The digital-ready policymaking team of DIGIT is tasked to set up a digital-ready policymaking support hub on Sharepoint Online offering access to self-service resources in a user-friendly manner, providing intertactive features and allowing for service request management. Also, the team is defining business requirements for additional tools to support the digital-ready policymaking journey of policy officers. The requested profile is expected to steer the service hub development and contribute to the additional tooling efforts.

  • Manage the implementation of the digital-ready policymaking service hub on Sharepoint Online to meet identified business needs within the agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
  • Guide the team in charge of related project activities and review their deliverables.
  • Monitor the DRPM service and reflect on potential improvements, including analysing users’ feedback
  • Support the digital-ready tooling efforts.
  • Prepare presentations, workshops, short reports on digital-ready policymaking.
  • Coordinate and review specific deliverables related to digital-ready policymaking.
  • Get involved into stakeholder relationship management aiming at promoting the uptake of digital-ready policymaking.
  • Report regularly to the project officer.

Job requirements

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • Good knowledge of project management standards, methodologies and tools
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean agile
  • Good knowledge of stakeholder relationship management practices and tools
  • Experience in meeting facilitation and organising workshops with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in the setting up and use of collaborative enterprise content management and knowledge management tools (e.g., Sharepoint online and Microsoft 365 suite)
  • Knowledge of digital-ready policymaking

The following expertise is considered as a plus:

  • Experience in managing an ICT-related service
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence
  • Knowledge of the DIGITAL funding instrument and the grant mechanism

Optional certifications:

  • ITIL certification above ITIL foundation (or equivalent).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Certified in PM2
