IT Support Specialist

1.1. Purpose

The purpose of the Contract Statement of Work is to define the project framework, in terms of work, services to be executed, and acceptance criteria, in order to enable the supplier to decide whether he will make an offer.

After acceptance of the offer, the CSOW becomes an integral part of Specific Contract

3. TASKS

 See Annex D to Technical Specifications - Profile ITSS.

 Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the needs, wishes and preferences of the VIP client.

 Fluent in both English/French both written and oral

ITIL V4 Foundation Certified (or where absent, a (TM-1 or FP-2) penalty may apply and the certification must be passed within 3 months after the start of the contract)

3.1. Support during the plenary sittings (part-sessions) in Brussels and in Strasbourg

As part of its legislative activities, the European Parliament organizes plenary sittings that represent the culmination of the legislative work done in committee and in the political groups.

Parliament meets in plenary session every month in Strasbourg, except August, for a partsession lasting four days (from Monday to Thursday). Six times a year, it also meets in Brussels for two days (Wednesday and Thursday).

Following the needs of the service, the FTE can be asked to provide support in Brussels or in Strasbourg, normal location of delivery.
