Job description

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join a global digital initiative supporting a high-impact data and technology transformation program for a major international humanitarian organization. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineers to lead one product team focused on Data Integration and Master Data Management.

This position is a key contributor to agile delivery and continuous improvement, helping drive lean-agile practices aligned with the SAFe framework while fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.

Job requirements

  • Guide and coach the product team in applying agile principles and Scrum/SAFe practices.

  • Facilitate all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Support the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and roadmap alignment.

  • Ensure alignment with the team’s capacity and facilitate accurate sprint planning and estimation.

  • Track key metrics such as velocity, burnup, and burndown to drive team improvement.

  • Identify and remove obstacles, empowering teams to resolve challenges independently.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, RTEs, and stakeholders to ensure clear priorities and efficient work organization.

  • Encourage a culture of self-organization, continuous improvement, and delivery ownership.

  • Report blockers and issues to the RTE, PO, and Product Manager.

  • Contribute to the agile community of practice and knowledge-sharing across teams.
