Senior Log Management Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior Log Management Specialist to join our IT team and help shape the future of monitoring and analytics across complex, high-availability environments.

🔍 About the Role

As a Log Management Specialist, you'll be embedded within our Monitoring Product team. Your main mission will be to design, build, and optimize scalable and resilient log management solutions. You’ll play a key role in migrating environments to modern container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift), and drive the adoption of Elastic Stack and Cribl (Splunk experience is a plus).

You’ll work closely with architecture and engineering teams to support both new implementations and the migration of legacy use cases—helping us ensure the security, performance, and availability of our monitoring infrastructure.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Architecture & Engineering: Design and implement scalable log management solutions using Elastic Stack and Cribl. Select the right tools for each use case and ensure seamless integration.

• Migration Projects: Lead the migration of existing use cases from legacy platforms (e.g., Splunk) to Elastic Stack in containerized environments (e.g., AKS/OpenShift).

• Use Case Management: Collaborate with product and business teams to assess needs, identify ingestion priorities, and ensure delivery of actionable insights.

• Platform Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune performance, query efficiency, and alerting capabilities. Optimize Elastic for post-migration performance.

• Training & Enablement: Empower IT and business users by offering training, coaching, and documentation for new logging platforms.

• Support & Incident Handling: Provide sustainable support for requests and incidents related to logging infrastructure.

• Continuous Improvement: Work cross-functionally to evolve standards, processes, and architectures in line with changing needs and technologies.

✅ Your Profile

• University degree in a technical field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing log management platforms in production environments.

• Strong expertise with Elastic Stack and Cribl (Splunk is a plus).

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Advanced knowledge of Linux administration and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or PowerShell.

• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

🌍 Location & Availability

• Fully remote position, but you should be located within ±2 hours of CET.
